Reggi Tour 2011

So as most of you would know we are back in the big smoke London after spending three nights in the simple city of Liverpool. Due to the lack of high speed internet in our previous hotel, posting was a bit frustrating. Luckily we are now blessed with high speed internet much to Nick’s satisfaction. Unfortunately we have to all be up by 5 am tomorrow to commence our 21 day tour of Europe so I will summarise the sights in dot points that we have seen in England and that haven’t been covered yet throughout the blog.

· Windsor Caste – The Queens weekend residence, apparently the oldest castle in the world
· Stone Hedge – Not much left of it now, still a mystery as it what purpose it served in its time
· Roman Bath – Located in the small town of “Bath”, the baths previously built and used by the Romans are still functioning to this day. Very impressive
· Buckingham Palace
· Kensington Palace
· 10 Downing Street
· Wellington Arch
· St Pauls Cathedral – built around 1675
· Tower of London
· Winter Wonderland – Nick attempted Ice skating but failed and hurt his wrist ;)
· Piccadilly Circus
· Trafalgar Square
· Westminster Abbey
· Big Ben – I honestly didn’t think Big Ben lived up to all its hype! But each to their own I guess..
· Chelsea Stadium
· Wembley Stadium
· Abbey Lane – Simple suburban street crossing that even at 5pm was filled with around 50 people all trying to cross the road and take photos replicating the album cover of the Beetles. The locals hate people like us!
· Theatre – The Blood Brothers Musical. I loved the show and it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip so far for me.
· M&M shop – Four levels of sweets and M&M merchandise
· Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum
· Football match at Fulham Stadium – Fulham Vs Odense (2-2)
· Wax Museum
