Day 3: Amsterdam - Rhineland-Wurzburg

Hello all

Today we headed into Germany and visited the small town of Boppard in the Rhine Gorge. The village was very quiet and felt quite dull due to the overcast weather. We then took part in a Rhine river cruise passing many steep vineyards and medieval castles which were covered in snow. We then finished the day in the German city Wurzburg where we enjoyed an authentic German meal.

  1. Hello Reggi Family.

Thank you for the updates and photos. Love it when there is a new post as it reminds me so much of our trip. Great to read you are all having a good time and aren't suffering from the cold. Spoke with Tessa the other day from New York and she tells me the weather has been great for her. Looks like you all picked a good year to travel. Lets hope it stays that way for the whole trip.

Everyone is fine back here. Yes Alf, sorry, Cosmo if great. Has really made our house his home and settled in very nicely.

Has been pretty cool so far which is great for me although Connie keeps complaining ;-)

Louis is still working at the Integ warehouse which keeps him off the couch. We have all finished now for the Christmas break and I'm really looking forward to NOT working for the next 2 weeks.

Well all the best for now. Keep up the blog posts. Hope to Skype you on Sunday if that fits in otherwise have a Merry (White) Christmas and build a snowman for me if you get the chance.

    Cheers.
